How can organizations achieve excellence and sustainable high performance? I have been a student and practitioner of this subject for more than 21 years, specializing in strategic planning and business process management.

As Finance Director at AT&T Corp. (USA), I helped manage a $167 billion balance sheet in a global telecom operation through world-class strategic planning and business process management. As Group CEO of Rahimafrooz in Bangladesh, and as Senior Consultant at the World Bank and International Finance Corporation (IFC), I learned the importance of the Asian perspective in business operations, business climate change, public-private partnership, and corporate governance.

Educated as an economist, I received a BSc in Economics from Boston College, MSc in Economics from London School of Economics, MBA in Finance, and Doctorate in Business Administration from SMU University. I was research scholar at Harvard Business School, and completed the Advanced Management Programme and Postgraduate Diploma in Management from Oxford University.

I am a Basel II Auditor from the Basel II Certification Institute (Switzerland), Internationally Certified in Banking Risk and Regulation (ICBRR) from GARP (USA), received Gold Mastery Certification in Strategic Planning from the Haines Center for Strategic Management (USA), and the Strategic Management Professional (SMP) Certification from ASP (USA). I am a Certified Business Process Professional (CBPP) from ABPMP, Certified Master in Business Process Management from BP Group (UK), and a Certified Master Black Belt in Six Sigma (USA). I authored a book on “Executive Corporate Finance: the business of enhancing shareholder value” published by Financial Times Prentice Hall (London, 2004).

I provide business excellence consulting services to corporates and train executives on leadership, strategic planning, business management, high performance, Six Sigma, and business process excellence. I joined Scandinavian Leadership because Lots® brings a unique, flexible, and holistic perspective to business that I found missing in the Anglo-Saxon and the Asian models. That’s why I believe Lots® is a powerful development tool and process for organizations of all sizes and kinds. Lots® has enabled companies around the world achieve great results.
