I began my career by working at Sandvik Coromant. After an instructive period in the Swedish Navy, I studied Business Administration and Sociology at Uppsala University. I went on to work for Beckers in Stockholm and at the same time I began to develop the process that came to be known as Lots®. I later started working for Pharmacia group in different capacities and then led Pharmacia's strategic planning group. I moved on to become the President of Pharmacia Ophthalmics, and built this business area which revolutionized eye surgery in the world with "the Rooster Comb" project and the product Healon®.

I left the management team of Pharmacia group in 1985 and decided to work full-time with my own company which is today Scandinavian Leadership.

The realization came that the next step in the development of my understanding of leadership was to deepen my knowledge of psychology by taking a three year course at the Psycho-synthesis Academy in Stockholm. I felt that I wanted to understand myself and the art of leadership even better. The synthesis of my professional life so far is presented in the book Lots® a Scandinavian approach to leadership.

My work now encompasses three development processes - for the leader, team and business or organization development.
