I was introduced to Lots® in 2007 in my previous position as Vice President/Country manager for Norway and part of the group management for Scandic Hotels. At that time I discovered that using a process tool for reflection in my own organisation, really released energy to take a broader perspective on my business.
My background is the hotel & travel industry I have been working for Scandic Hotels since 1984, first at various hotels as a General Manager, from 1997 as Region Director for Oslo, since 1998 as Operations Manager for Scandic in Norway and from 2001 as Country Manager for Scandic Norway. During these years I have been a part of a constantly changing business environment with extensive growth, tough down turn years, changes in managements and owners (owned by Exxon, Søderberg, Listed Company, Hilton International, EQT) a very interesting journey.
In addition to my jobs I have several experiences from different boards as the board and member of the executive committee at NHO (Confederation of Norwegian Business and Industry) President in the Norwegian as well as the Nordic Hotel and Restaurant Association.
I have a degree both from the Norwegian College of Hotel Management as well as the Norwegian College of Marketing.
