Swedish Hockey
Swedish Hockey faces great challenges, as does the rest of the athletic movement. The demands of professionalism increase while at the same time the commitment and willingness of those volunteering their own time and effort has to be taken into account.
For the board of the Swedish Hockey Association this means making the decision making process more efficient in every way. Clubs and districts can implement their authority and have the support they need to carry out regional decisions. SIF has asked Peter Hallberg, as certified in Lots®, to help them in this process. A work group has produced a proposal of how to make decision making more efficient in Swedish Hockey. This proposal has been discussed at a conference at which all the chairmen of the districts and professional clubs were given an opportunity to present their point of view. During the conference Peter facilitated as certified in Lots® which was highly appreciated because it enabled a structured discussion where everyone could speak their mind.
Christer Englund who is the chairman of SIF says: “It has been a great privilege for us and for me personally to have access to Lots® and Peter Hallberg. He used his great experience to help us work in a structured way and now I know that we are going to have a better organization and a way of working that will benefit everyone in Swedish Hockey. We need to keep the spark of Sweden’s efforts at the Olympics and in the World Championship in Riga alive even in our everyday lives.”
