Studentmedia is one of the leading media companies offering publications and other forms of communications for students. Since 1989 media products have been developed to meetthe demands of the market. The target group is students within the ages of 15 – 28.

 

Conny Hallin, one of the owners of Studentmedia said: “We are in the middle of restructuring our business due to new partnership, and we felt that there was a need for a thorough upgrading of our Vision and Goals. We asked Niclas Kristiansson at Scandinavian Leadership to assist us; and with the process of Lots® we were able to visualize our Goals and outline a clear framework for our Activities.”

 

Hallin continues: “In total, we used 4 and a half days to work out our strategies. The first three days the management team developed the plan and the last one and a half days the entire company was involved. The management team wanted everyone to feel that they were taking part in the outline of the business plan, and thereby facilitate the implementation in our different fields of operation later on. We are very pleased by the accomplishments.”

 

Studentmedia is the publisher of the magazine “Piraya”. It is distributed to high-school students all over Sweden at no cost. “Piraya” is a life-style magazine with focus on leisure, although it also brings in serious issues as well. Through a daily contact with the students, the latest trends, points of view and ideas are picked up.

 

“IQ Student” is another of Studentmedia´s magazines and the target group is senior high-school/university students. This magazine is available in all senior high-schools and universities and its circulation is over 90.000.
