"Stena Line's key value is that the decisions should be taken as close to the customer as possible. Each ferry route is a business unit responsible for it's own result. However, in a company the size of Stena Line there are a number of tools and resources that are shared. Having been given the task to make all eight markets and 9 routes to agree on a common product structure in order to make best use of our newly built reservation system I felt as if I'd been given an impossible challenge.
