DnB NOR Finance

DnB NOR is Norway’s largest financial service group. They offer products and services directly to customers as well as through agents and partners.

 

In August DnB NOR started a new operation in Stockholm, Sweden. Because of their size and strength in Norway they have a lot to offer the Swedish business world. DnB NOR Bank has already been established in Sweden and now it’s time for DnB NOR Finance. Stefan Davidsson leads DnB NOR Finance in Sweden: “We are a mature business with a mature market, but with our products and the way we interact with our customers we see great opportunities to help medium sized and large companies in Sweden find financial solutions.”

 

DnB NOR Finance offers products such as IT finance, Factoring and Customer Finance. “We like to cooperate with external companies. In the area we call Customer Finance we work with the suppliers of capital goods”, Stefan says.

 

In August DnB NOR engaged Johan Eklöw from Scandinavian Leadershp. They needed help to structure their ideas on how to establish a new successful finance company in the Swedish market while at the same time training the team to do the work. Stefan Davidsson continues: “We are a new company made up of ten individuals with different business experience and we needed to come together and find common goals and specific activities for the future. Johan was great at coaching us to put our feet to the ground and taking our first steps as a new organization. We chose to let everyone in the organization join in and contribute to our business plan”.
