Meeting in Stavanger, Norway
Is it just a coincidence that many prominent peace negotiators and UN officials come from Scandinavia? Is it pure luck that many great inventions originate from this region? Hans Ã…kerblom has initiated the Scandinavian Leadership Forum to seek answers to these kind of questions.
The participants of Scandinavian Leadership Forum come together several times per year, and on November 21st, Hans Ã…kerblom held a presentation in Stavanger Chamber of Commerce, where he presented his thoughts regarding Leadership the Scandinavian way. The meeting was highly appreciated, and the participants represented many different sectors, like oil, telecom, finance and hotels. Here are some of their comments:
- The variety in Scandinavian perspectives combined gives us a great advantage.
- The flexibility in Scandinavian people support innovation, and at the same time it can create blurry borders, which is not always positive.
- We should rather find similarities, as most studies are just focusing on the differences.
Many people ask themselves the question, How can I contribute? A good start is to send your contact details to
Hans@scandinavianleadership.com and you will regularly receive information and invitations to Scandinavian Leadership Forum
