October Meeting in New York
In early October prominent people from various professions and roles gathered in New York to discuss the characteristics and techniques of leadership the Scandinavian way as a contribution to our Global leadership. The gathering was hosted by Ulf Hjertonsson, Consul General of Sweden at the official residence. The World Business Academy was represented by its founder Rinaldo Brutoco who presented the role of leaders in creating a sustainable society. Hans Akerblom, founder of the Scandinavian Leadership Foundation spoke on the key characteristics of Scandinavian leadership of Inclusiveness, Connectedness, Curiosity and Creativity. The meetings and dinner were very open and constructive.

The next meeting in the Scandinavian Leadership Forum will take place at Eklundshof in Uppsala, Sweden on October 18-19, 2007. The experiences from our meetings and dinner in New York will then be built into our plan.
