Scandinavian Leadership Forum?

More people care more about themselves, each other and coming generations.

We believe in curiosity and creativity: Our world keeps changing and in order to contribute to the development in a positive way we need to be open, using all our senses and come back with creative and constructive solutions.
All change starts with myself: I need to trust, be honest to and respect myself in order to trust, be honest to and respect others.

Present Situation

We are 23 million people in Scandinavia (Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Faroe Islands and Iceland). It is impressive how much our ancestors and we ourselves have contributed in the world over the years. From the peace-makers, industry, culture, education to sports and science. We present examples of this in our multimedia presentation.
The intention of this initiative, the Scandinavian Leadership Forum is to make ourselves in Scandinavia aware of what we have done and are doing as a contribution to ourselves and to the world. This is a way to show respect to our ancestors and an inspiration to follow and be aware of what we are doing today. It is okay to be proud of our ancestors and ourselves and our contribution to the global world and the global leadership. We have so much in common in Scandinavia and we care so much about the rest of the world.
When the initiative – Scandinavian Leadership Forum was released we realized that we should use the Internet to connect and inspire people
Today we have a daily newspaper on the web www.scandinavianleadership.com and we cover news from the whole of Scandinavia.
We have continually improved the web-site and we still have to take steps in order to make it attractive to many more people. You are most welcome to contribute.

Purpose

To young leaders in Scandinavia, who want to succeed in their different areas, Scandinavian Leadership Forum will showcase the historical and present day strengths of Scandinavian Leadership and inspire all of us to take part in a dialogue for increased consciousness. We will do this as a contribution to Global Leadership.

Goals: More and more people get interested in learning more about Scandinavia and Scandinavian Leadership.; More and more Scandinavian Leaders learn more and more about the Scandinavian contributions to global leadership. This allows us to be proud of the Scandinavian way of doing things which will inspire us to contribute even more to the global opportunities and challenges of today and tomorrow.

Activities
The Scandinavian Leadership Forum has taken initiative to the following four activities.
Meetings and workshops: We have had seminars in Uppsala, New York, Uppsala, Stavanger, Helsinki, Aarhus, Helsinki and Stockholm.; New seminars are being planned and all members can take initiatives to sponsor seminars.
Daily newspaper – www.scandinavianleadership.com: Our newspaper on the web has become very appreciated. We would like more people to contribute to our web-newspaper. Click on My News and provide news on how Scandinavia contributes to make a better world.
Publish a book on Scandinavia, the Scandinavian soul and Scandinavian Leadership.: The first inspirational meetings have been held and the next meeting will take place in Stavanger during the autumn of 2008.
“Did you know” book Published.: A book has been published and labeled "Did you know about Scandinavia" with collection of interesting facts about significant contributions that emanates from Scandinavia.
